Communication boosts results
Is poor communication hurting your results?
Communication is the lifeblood of a business. When it is healthy, it flows smoothly and carries ‘messages’ throughout the system.
When it’s not, it can create toxic problems and cause damage to every part of the business. It can harm relationships with team members, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
Like many issues in business, communication is both easy and hard to fix.
There is no one solution – good communication requires a customised approach, adjusting to the people, place and purpose of the exchange.
Many of my clients have found that small adjustments to their interactions with team members and customers have made a big difference to the outcomes.
I came across this graphic from @WeAreTeachers and it strikes me that we could all learn a lot from taking this approach to difficult conversations and situations.
What do you think? Which reframing would work best in your world, at the moment?
